Beans is now offering introductory baking classes for youth. Participants will learn and practice age-appropriate baking techniques; including how to measure, portion, and mix ingredients, as well as decorating and icing various baked goods.

Cake & Pie from Scratch
Jr Bakers Class is limited to 10 students Age recommendation is 11-14 (or a mature younger student, at parent's discretion, but must have completed a previous Jr Bakers Class) Each class duration is 2 evenings Spring 2022 DATES Monday evenings (Classes are 2 weeks long) February 28 + March 7 TIME 6:00pm - 8:00pm COST $60 + Tax LOCATION The classes take place at our bakery space in Dry Ridge, not at the restaurant. Address will be provided to registered students. REGISTER Reserve your spot by printing and completing the registration form and by submitting payment with the form to Beans (21 Taft Hwy, Dry Ridge). First come, first served. |

7-Layer Cake Teen Class
Our first baking class for teens will be a fun 2-week course on making a 7-Layer Cake from scratch. We'll help students understand the ingredients and process from mixing, to forming, to baking, to icing and decorating. When they're finished, each student will bring home a delicious, personalized 7-Layer Cake. We will be using store-bought style ingredients that teens can recreate with your assistance at home. There is no experience necessary and parents/guardians are welcome to stay and watch from a viewing area next to the teaching kitchen. Only 6 spots available per class. The total cost is $40 per student (applicable taxes not included). Registration form and fee must be submitted together at Beans (21 Taft Hwy, Dry Ridge, KY). Priority is given by date of registration and payment. |

All staff will have a completed background check on file. The class area is peanut-free, however there are peanuts and tree nuts within the facility. Please note any allergens at sign up.
While participants from past Beans Jr. Bakers classes are welcome to re-take a course, registration priority will be given first to new participants.
